Terms of Use

Effective date: November 7, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Hayya iOS app ("Hayya", "the app"), provided by Muhammad Zaman, an individual developer ("I", "me"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Apple's Standard EULA

Hayya is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These Terms add to the Standard EULA; if they conflict, the Standard EULA controls. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it.

2. Hayya Pro subscriptions

Hayya is free to use with ads. Hayya Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes ads and unlocks premium wake-up challenges. It is offered as a yearly plan, which may include a free trial, and a monthly plan. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region.

3. Prayer times and alarms

Prayer times are calculated from your location and the calculation method you choose, and may differ from your local mosque or authority. Alarms depend on your device's settings, such as volume, Focus modes, notification permissions and battery, which are outside the app's control. Please check important times independently. Hayya is a tool to help you wake up; it is not a religious authority, and I am not liable for missed prayers, fasts, appointments or other consequences of an alarm not sounding or a time being inaccurate.

4. Wake-up challenges

Some challenges ask you to move, walk or shake your phone. Use them only where it is safe to do so, and choose challenges that suit your health and surroundings.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell or misuse the app, interfere with its ads or purchases, or use it in violation of any law.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, text, graphics and sounds belong to me or my licensors. Prayer time calculations use the open-source Adhan library under its license.

7. Third-party services

The app uses third-party services, including Apple, Superwall and Google AdMob, as described in the Privacy Policy. Their terms apply to your use of those services.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be waived.

9. Changes

I may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
