How do prayer-anchored alarms work?
Pick a time to anchor to, such as Fajr, sunrise, a prayer, the middle of the night or the last third of the night, and choose to wake before, at or after it. Hayya calculates prayer times on your phone from your location and moves your alarm every day as the times change.
My prayer times don't match my mosque.
Open Settings in the app and choose the calculation method and Asr method your community uses. You can also fine-tune each prayer by a few minutes.
Will my alarm ring if my phone is on silent or in Focus?
Allow notifications for Hayya, and allow its time-sensitive notifications in your Focus settings. Keep the volume up, and keep the app in the background rather than force-quitting it. For the most reliable wake-up, check the "Next alarm" shown in the app before you sleep.
Do I have to share my location?
No. You can type a city instead. If you do share it, your location stays on your device and is used only to calculate prayer times. See the Privacy Policy.
What are wake-up challenges?
To stop the alarm you complete a short task: math, typing, memory, walking a number of steps, shaking your phone or scanning a QR code you've placed somewhere else, like the bathroom. Math and typing are free; the others come with Hayya Pro.
What does Hayya Pro include?
Pro removes all ads and unlocks the Memory, Steps, Shake and QR scan challenges. It's available yearly with a 7-day free trial, or monthly.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Hayya and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I got a new phone. How do I restore Pro?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open Hayya's Settings and tap Restore purchases.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
Where the law requires it, open Settings → Ad privacy choices in the app to review or change your consent. Hayya never asks to track you across apps.
